The Hawaii Island Economic Development Board and the Arc of Hilo join forces to assist with HIEDB’s latest EPA funded project, a reuse store of Construction and Demolition (C&D) materials. Currently most materials from building of a home, remodeling, or demolition goes to the landfill. This new reuse store will be located in the old Miko Meats location on Kekuanaoa Street in Hilo.

Selected contractors on Hawaii Island have been invited to participate as a Task Force to assist us with designing the flow of product from their job sites to the reuse store.

For more information or to get involved, contact Skylark Rossetti @ (808) 935-2180.
